2BIT is a sky blue fox from a special pocket dimension. This realm, known as Byte Space, has a strange, digitized look to it, but it is more of a cosmic place where the denizens monitor and manage the destinies of various other dimensions within the multiverse. They are largely offshoots of other "prime" universes that fall out of Byte Space's jurisdiction, but that doesn't make the job any less demanding. So, in order to manage, 2BIT split his own psyche into several other beings, able to help him carry out his duties in several places at once. They form up a team known as "BIT Squad."

"Happy New Year!!" As fireworks went off and people danced in the streets of Station Square, 2BIT sat on a bench, watching the festivities with a smile.
