>A little filly tackles you and knocks you down and starts to rub her face against your shirt
>"Anon where were you!?"
>Heartbeat lifts her face from your shirt, looking at you with moist eyes and quivering lips
"Whoa Heartbeat I was just gone for business"
>heartbeat buries her face against your shirt once again as she hugs you as hard as her little hooves can
>"I thought you left for good!"
>Note to self, next time inform Heartbeat when you're going away for a while
>You place your hand on her head and give her a few pats on the head, which calms her down enough for her to let go of you so you can pry her off of you
>As the filly wipes her eyes you stand up and dust yourself off
>"Why didn't you say anything?"
>You shrug
"I guess I forgot to tell you"
>Heartbeat stares at you for a few seconds, gasps in shock and then glares at you
>"You forgot? Anon you butt!"
>You kneel and try to place your hand on her shoulder, but she swats it away with her wing and sharply turns her head so she's no longer looking at you
"Come on I brought you souvenirs"
>Her ears twitch and she briefly glances at you
>"...what sort of souvenirs?"
>You pull up your backpack and dig out the secret item
"A dragonfruit!"
>Heartbeat glances at the fruit, but then turns her head completely to stare at it with her mouth open
>"It looks so big and juicy..."
>She licks her lips as you hand her the fruit, but then you suddenly get an idea
"It's a magical fruit that gives you the form of a dragon when you eat it"
>Heartbeat grabs the fruit in her hooves and looks at you in wonder
>"Really?"
>You nod
"Yeah"
>Heartbeat hungrily bites onto the fruit and rips the skin off so she can get to the tasty meat inside
>And then she proceeds to messily gorge on it, chomping the fruit down like it was a competition
>Afterwards she lets out a small burp and wipes the excess juices off of her mouth
>But then her eyes open up big as saucers
>"I can feel it working!"
>Heartbeat wiggles and jitters while standing still, before opening her mouth wide and
>"Graaaaaah"
>Lets out her a cute little growl
>she then turns to look at you and growls again while baring as much of her teeth's as she can
"Whoa, Heartbeat that's pretty cool"
>Heartbeat shoots you a teeny tiny glare as she takes flight
>"No, not cool, scary, I'm a scary dragon now! I'll eat you!"
>She flies up to you and balances on top of your head and shoulders and growls cutely yet again before playfully chomping her mouth shut while pretending to take bites out of your head
"Ok you little drake, you might want to hang on"
>You turn around and start heading towards your ho-
>And right behind you back, a stall selling all sorts of fruits
>including dragonfruits, written in big letters on a sign
"Uh...how funny, they seem to have these magical fruits here too..."
>Heartbeat lets out a giggle before resting herself against the top of your head
>"I know they're not magical..."
>You grab the filly and pick her up into your arms and hold her in front of you
"So you knew all along?"
>Heartbeat nods
"So why did you play along?"
>She smiles happily at you
>"It was fun"
>You sigh and put the filly down
"I guess now that my great souvenir was not that great, you'd like me to buy you some sweets"
>Heartbeat's expression turns to that of excitement and she starts to flap her wings so hard they're buzzing
>"You're going to by me a lot of sweets!?"
>You push the excited filly back down so her hooves are once again touching ground
"I said some sweets"
>Heartbeat rubs her chin with her hoof
>"I don't know, the surprise was bad so maybe you should buy a lot..."
>She then gives you a pouty look
>"Please?"
>You sigh in defeat
"Fine, but don't go eating them all in one sitti-"
>"Yay!"
>Heartbeat throws her hooves into the air and then starts to fly excitedly in circles around you while laughing happily
>Next time you'll just buy her a durian
