>Gambit sighs as he walks into his small home in Manehattan, stretching his leathery wings out and shaking himself to clear away the encroaching exhaustion >He walks towards the bathroom and stops to set aside his work clothes consisting of a hardhat, jacket and rubber boots >As he sheds his jacket he takes a brief moment to look at himself as he is >Bags under his eyes and the rounded bowl shape of his mane contest to the hard life he lives, pulling levers all night as the sole graveyard shift employee of Equestria's finest bottling company >Gambit shakes out his mane, snorting out his disapproval at his disturbing image >He runs his slender leg over his chest, patting down the disheveled coat and stretching out his wings again, eyeing himself careful with his deep amber eyes >Slowly he traces his slim frame with his eyes in an effort to mark down where every discrepancy lies that might throw off his appearance >With a twist of his legs he studies the colorful cutie mark stamped on his flank >The Jester's mask stares back at him, the symbols of Mars and Venus on either side of the colorful face >Gambit finally finishes his brief self inspection, turning back towards the bathroom with a purpose >As he walks into the bathroom and runs his bath the signs of weariness melt away from his figure >He slips into the bath and begins to scrub himself with an energy he hadn't noticed he had before, paying extra attention to his lower belly and the pits of his wings >Gambit dunks his head into the water, washing out his messy mane with a brush and hoof >He reaches for a bottle of soft, lilac scented shampoo and begins conservatively applying it to his coat and mane, a raised and jovial hum kicking up from the back of his throat >The now eager bat pony lathers himself up with gusto in an effort to dispel the dirty and musky smell of work >After another dip down into the water Gambit raises himself up, looking down at his shining and soft smelling coat >Gambit removes himself from the bath, running a dry towel over his body gently as to not disturb his clean and straight coat >He grabs a brush and begins to run it through his mane, a surprisingly long ensemble presenting itself after being removed from it's bowl shape >Gambit grabs a red bow pin and uses the brush to lift his mane, sliding the pin in at the crook of his ear to hold the off-white colored hair from his eyes >After moving aside his mane the bat pony grabs some slide on lash extensions, putting them carefully on his eyelid and holding them still as they settled >After the lashes settle he moves his hoof away from his eye, mimicking the process on his other eye and then moving on to applying light foundation to his face, focusing on the bags under his eye >Gambit takes some grey concealer and applies it over the foundation, leaning his head forward to pay close attention to the detail of his work >Now finished with the powdery aspects of his make over, Gambit moves on to clothing >The bat pony quickly moves over to the clothes in the bathroom, picking out a purple single-shoulder piece out of the lineup >He slips into it carefully, reaching a hoof back to slide his tail through the provided hole >Replicating the steps with his wings takes little time before he adjusts the dress so that the shoulder of the dress shows off plenty of his upper body while remaining secure >Gambit lets his mane fall in front of him, bringing the brush back to style it into a curved split at the place where his mane meets his ear >He slips on a small necklace, smiling to himself at his new look before finishing off the facade with a few puffs from a light perfume, masking his natural scent completely in something much sweeter to the senses >The stallion finishes his transformation, looking at himself and nodding with certainty as he compliments himself in a very androgynous tone "Venus Fly, you are looking gorgeous tonight!"
