>Dat pristine coat. Do you know how much effort goes in to maintaining such a glorious colour of fresh snow? >Midnight Blossom knows. >Every evening when the sun begins to set she wakes up early and draws a warm soapy bath. >Then there’s the problem of having to grab a grumpy filly from her roost. >A gentle prod with her nose will usually wake her up. >If not then a slight nip at her ear will make her jump out of bed and onto her hooves. >She drags so much dirt up onto her belly and legs. >Not to mention the crud which sticks to her fur from the sap she brushes against while flying, attracting all kinds of debris bark, twigs, leafs. >Such a dirty little filly requires plenty of attention to keep clean. >Tossing her into the sudsy water the work begins. >A stiff bristled brush and elbow grease does the job. >Sour sap coating her fur causes squeaks as mommy tugs and bites at it with her fangs to get the crud out. >Soon the water is stained a dark brown and she is lifted out. >Her fur is then ruffled with a warm towel until dry. Now we have a sparkling porcelain filly with a mane that shines like gold.
