>It’s a warm summer evening, the air is light but refreshing as a cool wind blows past you which relieved your brow from the glistening sweat. >you shiver slightly as it blows over you, caressing your exposed neck that extended from the collar of your short-sleeved shirt. >the leaves of a nearby tree rustle around but you don’t think too much about it, especially considering the breeze that just blew by. >the rustling becomes louder as you turn your head with a raised brow, almost certain that the wind wasn’t THAT strong. >almost on cue, a figure lurches out from the leaves of the tree and with a screech, a splash of water is dumped over you while you have only fractions of a second to shield yourself with your arms. >Just as soon as you were startled, you were now drenched in water from the waist up; your eyes searching for the culprit who caused this. >“Ekeekeek!” A familiar voice squeaked in laughter. >You could hear wing beats just above you as you glance up at the shadowy figure made a silhouette by the moon above the both of you. >“You seemed kinda hot, Anon. Figured you could use a way to cool off.” She flashes a toothy grin as her luminescent green eyes lighten with joy. “Eve! Really?” Your tone was less than joyous, in fact, it was quite distraught over Eve’s little prank. >Eve frowns a little but kept her demeanor the same. “Oh stop it Anon. You can’t be so grumpy all the time.” >Eve lowers herself to the ground and folds her wings to her side, also dropping the bucket she had in her grasp as a few drops of water trickled out from the base of the wooden bucket. “It’s hard not to be grumpy when I’m soaking wet.” Your tone was lightening each moment that Eve coaxed you along. You still weren’t happy with how things turned out but you couldn’t stay mad at her either. >“Well, I could help you with that.” Eve’s eyes narrow as she approaches you, placing her hoof against your chest which was wearing the now dripping-dry t-shirt. “Eve, I don’t think …” Your words were stifled as Eve eased you onto the ground and snuggled up close to your chest. The heat of her body was a stark contrast from the chilling wet shirt you had on you. >“Just relax” She says in a friendly yet inviting tone. “You always make such a big deal about everything.” >Eve rests her head against your neck; her spring green eyes studying yours to see how you were taking everything in so far. >You couldn’t help but blink as you looked over to those luminescent eyes of hers, finding yourself speechless as you rested your hand on her back near the base of her wing. >“You’re so forward, Anon.” Eve teased as she could sense your hesitation. “You’re the one being forward.” You say as you grumble but reflected your inner feelings through a smile that creased your cheeks. >You simply rub your hand along her back, enjoying the warmth of her body against yours and by now, you had long forgotten that you were drenched with water in the first place. >The both of you kept silent as moments passed by; not awkwardly but rather for the sake of enjoying the moment. It was rare that you got to spend time with Eve like this so you savored each passing minute like it would have been the last time you saw her. >“You feel better now?” Eve pushes her nose against your neck and nuzzles you, her tongue flicking against your skin. >There was a chill that was sent up your spine as you felt her tongue brush along your sensitive skin. You weren’t sure if she was teasing or not with that but you pushed it out of your mind. >It happened again. >By now you could only wonder what more she was going to do, was she … >You look over to her, her eyes focused on your neck; particularly near the base of your shoulder where she had pulled back the fabric of your shirt to expose your still wet skin. >Her eyes were studying and focused, determined as something was welling up within her. >You could see her fangs gleam slightly under the soft glow of the moonlight above you, her mouth opens … >Eve lets out a squeak as she yawns, placing her head against your neck and huffing a breath of air lightly. Her breath breezing over you softly as you let out a relaxed breath of your own. >Your hand continues to run through the softness of her dark fur, simply enjoying the moment for what it was. >It was not long before you found yourself incapable of staying awake and within those few short moments, you passed out from the state of relaxation. >Hours pass and you wake up to the welcoming warmth of the sunlight on your face. The gleam of the sun’s rays shone down through the canopy above; its light trickling down softly and sprawled out over you and Eve like a blanket. >Eve herself was sprawled out over you, still lying on your chest with her legs tucked under her and with one hoof outstretched and resting on your shoulder. >She had herself pulled up close to you with her nose nestled in against your neck; her breaths would tickle the hairs on your neck. >You take a few moments to gather your thoughts as you stare upward to the canopy above you. Everything felt peaceful … or at least they did until there was a stinging pain in your neck. >Your eyes were immediately directed to where the pain was coming from. >There on your neck was Eve, sound asleep but it seemed she had taken a bite into your neck while she was in dream land. >It wasn’t as though she had taken a big bite, rather she just sank her teeth into your skin. “Eve …” You whisper in a mixture of trying to get her attention but not wake her. >A small tickling sensation traveled down from where she had bitten you, blood trickling down your skin and onto your back where you lay. >It felt strange, the whole sensation that filled you. You were strangely enjoying it almost as much as you were afraid of it. >A familiar touch takes your attention; Eve flicks her tongue out in the midst of her sleep, lapping up the trickling blood as it leaked from where she had bitten. >You weren’t sure if she had ever tasted blood before, much she certainly seemed to enjoy it.
